In education, the term assessment refers to the wide variety of methods that educators use to evaluate, measure, and document the academic readiness, learning progress, and skill acquisition of students from preschool through college and adulthood. T.I.S. follows a regular and ongoing assessment process which is a balanced assessment system. Both Summative and Formative Assessments form an integral part of information gathering.
The main purpose of assessment is to support teaching and learning by identifying what pupils already know and can do and what their next step should be. Assessments are conducted consistently throughout the academic year at the school.
The health strategy of a school is as a system to promote health, which will lead to the students’ increase of the capacity and empowerment on living healthy, working healthy and quality education, through
active cooperation of parents, students and teachers and with the approach of empowering the students in the field of taking care of themselves, self-care culture and the same age students and the peers’
education,
Benefits of school health policy:
1. Self-confidence, self-esteem, communications and communication skills which are vital for mental health and welfare.
2. Empowering students to making important decisions is essential in health.
3. Encouraging students to participate in making decisions is very important.
4. Experience and learning field at school causes the students acquire complete health.
5. Hygienic behaviors in childhood and adolescence will continue during the life time.

We in T.I.S. beleive that language plays a vital role in learning process so we foster the development of the language of instruction, mother tongue and world language . T he school community is mostly bilingual, but the students are encouraged to experience other languages and the cultures associated with them. This document includes provisions for second-language teaching and mothertongue language support that meets the needs of students and reflects the  principles of the programme.

Towheed Iranian School (T.I.S) considers Academic honesty an integral part of its core values and principles that is supported by our schools’ Vision and Mission. Moreover, T.I.S believes in supporting measures and practices related to academic honesty and we place a significant value on honesty that ranges from personal actions to work submitted for
assessment. This policy is based on the goals of the IB Learner Profile and guided by the " IB Diploma programme , Academic honesty, guidance for schools ". As a consequence, all members of the community need to be aware that T.I.S treats academic dishonesty as a highly serious issue.
Academic honessy must be seen as a set of values and skills that promote personal integrity and good practice in teaching, learning and assessment. It is influenced and
shaped by a variety of factors including peer pressure, culture, parental expectations, role modeling and taught skills.”
